Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry

This vision for Kingswood’s Youth Ministry is to:

CONNECT YOUTH TO GOD

CONNECT YOUTH TO EACH OTHER

CONNECT YOUTH WITH OTHERS

Our Youth Group includes 6th – 12th graders, providing a place for discipleship, worship, Bible study, service opportunities, and life-changing fun! Some of our service projects have included working at the Bay Area Food Bank, sorting merchandise at the Open Door Thrift Shop, and packing kits for the United Methodist Committee on Relief. Our Youth enhance our worship by serving as acolytes and by singing in the Youth Choir. Our vision is to inspire, support, and challenge Youth to grow authentically as world-changing disciples of Jesus Christ!

Each year our Youth raise the funds to go on an exciting church-sponsored Mission Trip. In 2019, our Youth traveled to the Navajo Nation in Arizona where they had the opportunity to work with a local community garden, facilitate children’s programming, and help with work projects in the community. They also learned about Navajo culture and experienced the beauty of the high deserts.
